American Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers National Fusion Conference 2025

I attended the 2025 American Farm Bureau Fusion Conference. I participated in the Discussion Meet contest but also networked with Farmers, Ranchers, and agricultural advocated from around the country, went to break out sessions, and heard from many inspirational speakers.
Young Farmers and Ranchers gathered at the Utah State Capitol for Farm Bureau Day on the Hill.

I served as a YF+R (Young Farmers and Ranchers) Officer for two of my years at Utah State. My positions were vital on our small officer team to be consistently involved in the state’s agricultural impact.
This position opened my doors into opportunities through the American Farm Bureau Federation and build relationships with agriculturalists in the state.
MANRRS is a National organization. At USU I was involved in the club as a member and officer for all three years that I was at USU.

As an officer, I helped plan each meeting, coordinate with other officers, handle some of the social media and other communication, and help direct the work of our club generally.
I attended three regional conferences, competed in several events, and received many scholarships through this organization.
Western Regional Dairy Challenge 2025- Social Media Intern

I was selected to manage and create content for the social media of the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge competition for the Western Region.
The American West Heritage Center is a nonprofit historical functioning farm. The mission is to “Create an educational and entertaining environment that inspires our patrons to learn, live, and celebrate the American West Heritage by exploring the diverse cultures that shaped the Cache Valley and surrounding region from 1820-1920.”

My role at the American West Heritage Center is to manage the social media and marketing of all programming, opportunities, and events. Throughout the year, we have local programming to teach about history, rental spaces available, large group ventures, and large-scale events that bring in people from all over the world!
The most recent event was Baby Animal Days. I individually handled our social media presence and online advertising for the event. We had record breaking attendance with over 35,000 people!
